We have the site designed and ready to go once planning permission is approved!
Although we offer many services, Comraich is an animal sanctuary at heart. Whether directly from farmers, or through partnerships with other animal rescue organisations, we rescue neglected, injured and no longer profitable animals from the farming industry. Our goal is to provide these animals with a forever home, so they can "retire" and lead as natural a life as possible.
In addition, we are dedicated to offering a loving and secure home for a variety of adorable creatures, such as chickens, cockerels, guinea pigs, and rabbits.
Our top priority is to provide them with a safe haven, complete with fully enclosed outdoor runs, where they can freely express their natural instincts and interact with their fellow companions.
Featuring an expansive area of 58 acres and a picturesque pond, our intention is to enhance the development of wildlife-friendly habitats within our premises (additional details can be found in our Biodiversity section).
By allocating more space and resources, we aspire to invite diverse wildlife, including deer, foxes, birds and amphibians, as well as taking on rescues from wildlife sanctuaries to provide them with a secure and nurturing environment they can proudly call home.
We aim to establish a special space dedicated to honoring and cherishing our beloved Rainbow Bridge travelers. This space will allow us to showcase plaques and photographs, creating a meaningful tribute to these cherished individuals.
Additionally, we warmly invite members of our community to join us in this garden, where they can contribute their own memorials and reflect upon the treasured moments they shared with their furry friends.
