In order to improve the abilities of those on government benefits to find meaningful employment as well as gain confidence and learn more about their own mental health, we are offering online courses. In order to identify people who need our services, we will work with local community groups such as the Job Centre. Skills Network will provide the courses, and we will pay for the materials and courses, while continuing to provide support and guidance to our participants.
Our pilot project has already shown to be benefitial to our paticipant, with 100% pass rate so far.
The work experience program is available for students, care leavers, individuals receiving government benefits, and other groups from the local community.
Animal Care: In a professional setting, we will provide you with an opportunity to assist us with caring for our animals daily. As well as learning about nutrition, animal management, animal behavior, record keeping, and basic first aid. (And of course, plenty of animal cuddles)
Hospitality Management: Our 5 glamping pods on-site provide an opportunity for you to learn hands-on how to manage a hospitality site, including cleaning, record keeping, stocking and customer service for the volunteers who stay there.
Throughout the year, we will offer schools the opportunity to visit Comraich and learn about our work and how we help the Environment, the Community, and the Individual.
Also, we are interested in organising school groups to assist us in setting up our biodiversity projects so that children can have a direct role in saving their environment
